Friendly Callers

Support our community members to overcome social isolation and loneliness. Volunteers will reach out to clients weekly. Days and times are to be determined through a mutual agreement between the client and the volunteer. Three positions are available.

Meals On Wheels Delivery Drivers in Androscoggin and Franklin Counties

            Note: Mileage is reimbursed for our delivery drivers at .50 cents a mile.

Want to volunteer but only occasionally? We are looking for per diem delivery drivers for the MOW program for Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin Counties.  Mondays through Thursdays, 9 am-12 pm. Pick-up is at the Wilton location.

Meals on Wheels Administration Support at Jay Distribution Center

Our Jay office seeks a volunteer to help with light administrative tasks. This position can be flexible regarding days and times during the week that best work for the volunteer. Basic computer skills and data entry are preferred.

Kitchen Assistant At the Lewiston Distribution Center

This position would assist with food preparation and cleaning as required for the daily Meals on Wheels (MOW) production. A volunteer is needed on Thursdays for two hours between the hours of  8 am -12 noon.

Money Minders in Auburn, Brownfield, Buckfield, Canton, Durham, and Lewiston

Assist clients who need help managing monthly bill payments. Flexible hours.

Norway Office Reception Support     

Our Norway office needs assistance on Thursdays & Fridays 8:30 am -12 pm. The assistant will greet clients occasionally and support the community service personnel with administrative tasks.

Social Dining Site Assistant

Meal site assistance is needed in the Rumford and Farmington sites. Assistance is needed to set up, serve, clean up, and collect donations. Assistance is necessary weekly between the hours of 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
