Starting September 2, 2024, the Maine DHHS Office of Aging and Disability Services has launched the Maine Access Navigator Tool! This tool is for older adults, their families, friends, and care partners. It’s available any day or time and can be used on smartphones, computers, and more.
With the Maine Access Navigator Tool, you can answer questions about things like housing, transportation, food, and safety. Based on your answers, the tool will give you helpful information on resources that can address your needs.
You are in control with this tool. You can answer all the questions or skip some. You can also look at the resources it suggests by yourself. If you want, you can even send your answers to trained specialists who can call you during business hours to help you with things like finding the right resources and filling out applications.

If you need help using the Maine Access Navigator Tool (MANT), you can email the OADS Health Aging Services Team at maineaccessnavigator.oads@maine.gov.
