Our current volunteer opportunities:

Friendly Callers

  • Combat social isolation with the power of connection. As a Friendly Caller, you’ll be matched with a client to check in with weekly.
  • Calls can be made from the comfort of your home.
  • Schedule is flexible and mutually agreed upon.
  •  Great for volunteers who enjoy conversation and meaningful connections.

Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers

  • Be a lifeline for homebound community members by delivering nutritious meals and a warm smile.
  • Mileage reimbursement available at $0.54 per mile.
  • Deliveries take place Monday–Thursday, 9 AM–12 PM.
  • Volunteer as a regular or backup driver.
  • Opportunities available in Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin Counties.
  • Pick-up location depends on the delivery area.

Social Dining Site Assistants

Support our weekly Social Dining meal sites by helping to serve meals, collect donations, and assist with clean-up.

  • Volunteer shift: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM (varies slightly by location)
  • Locations include:
    • Rumford Island Housing – Mondays
    • Farmington Recreation Center – Mondays
    • Industry Town Office – Third Thursday of each month (Pick-up and return in Jay, 10 AM–2 PM)

Norway Office Reception Support

Help keep things running smoothly at our Norway office by providing a welcoming presence and administrative support.

  • Fridays, 8:30 AM–12 PM.
  • Greet occasional visitors and assist Community Services staff with light clerical work.
  • Ideal for someone who enjoys working in a supportive, team environment.

SeniorsPlus has volunteer positions for everyone. No particular experience needed – just enthusiasm and dedication. We work to find a happy fit for you. Some volunteers wish to work in an area that they are knowledgeable about, others want to hit the reset button and try something new.

Opportunities range from administrative support in the office, delivering meals with our Meals on Wheels program, helping clients understand Medicare options, and helping manage household budgets.

Our Volunteer Coordinator is happy to speak with you and help you decide the best volunteer fit.
