The Office of Aging and Disability Services (OADS) has increased the Section 63 (HBC) rates retroactively to 1/1/2022.  SeniorsPlus has received an amended contract for FY22, which will allow our billing team to process retroactive payments based on claims that we previously processed through 6/20/2022. At this time, we are still waiting for the FY23 amendment to allow for retro payments starting 7/1/2022.

Billing is currently working to calculate retro payments for dates of 1/1/2022 through 6/30/2022 and will issue payments to providers once processed.  As soon as we receive the contract amendment for FY23, our billing team will then calculate the second retro payment for anything you have billed on or after 7/1/2022. We anticipate an amended contract with the new rates and will notify you when you can expect to receive the second retro payment.

There is no action required by providers to receive the retro reimbursement. You will automatically be paid at the new rate beginning with services delivered on or after 1/1/2022. However, it is very important that you submit any outstanding billing by Friday, August 19th

Providers can expect to receive contract renewal packages, including an updated rate sheet, as soon as we have both amendments from OADS.

Thank you for your patience as we work through what can be a confusing and delayed process.
