Money Minders can reduce the number of overdraft and late fees incurred and bring peace of mind to the program participant. Money Minders is a free service for persons 60 and older. Email UsOlder adults connect with trained volunteers to receive weekly social telephone calls. This program provides friendly conversation, socialization, connection with others, and an opportunity to meet new people. Participants will be paired with a volunteer and receive weekly calls at an agreed upon time. To sign up or to become a volunteer, call 1-800-427-1241.
Email UsVeterans may self-direct their personal care services and continue to live independently at home. Eligible veterans manage their own flexible budgets, decide what mix of goods and services best meet their needs, and hire and supervise their own workers. A Care Manager at SeniorsPlus will facilitate assessment and care/service planning, arrange fiscal management services, and provide ongoing counseling and support to veterans, their families, and caregivers.
