What is the Waiver Services Provider?
SeniorsPlus Waiver Service Provider (WSP) is an authorized agent of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. WSP is responsible for coordinating the following services for certain EIM consumers: emergency response systems, respite in a facility, environmental modification and assisted technology. The providers and contractors who deliver these services must be contracted with the WSP.
To receive services through the WSP, a consumer must be actively enrolled with EIM (under Section 19, Home and Community Benefits for the Elderly and Adults with Disabilities), living at home (not in the hospital or rehabilitation facility or nursing home) and must have one or more of these services in his/her authorized Plan of Care.
If you are currently an EIM consumer and have questions regarding the services listed above, please contact your care coordinator. If you are a provider or contractor interested in contracting with WSP, please see contact information on the sidebar of this page.
